RocketBolt determines which notifications you've already seen and which you haven't by comparing the last time you saw a notification with the time of the most recent tracking event.
In order to compare times, RocketBolt checks your computer's time versus the time an event was recorded on our servers.
While your computer's clock and RocketBolt's clock usually match, it's possible that the clock on your computer isn't correct. This can happen without users even realizing it. For example, occasionally, a computer freezing -- even for a few seconds -- can impact the clock.
To restore desktop notifications, make sure your computer's clock is correct. Sometimes this might require restarting your computer.
